Job Description
:
The Lifting Engineer is responsible for inspecting and testing lifting equipment and accessories to ensure safety, compliance, and operational reliability in line with UAE regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect lifting equipment such as cranes, forklifts, hoists, and related machinery. Examine lifting accessories including slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and wire ropes. Identify hazards, defects, and non-compliance during inspections. Perform load testing and functional testing as per applicable standards. Prepare and issue inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance documents. Coordinate inspection activities with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, EIAC requirements, and international standards (BS, ISO, EN).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience working under EIAC-accredited inspection activities.
Relevant experience in lifting equipment inspection and testing. Good knowledge of UAE regulations and international standards. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.Job Type: Full-time
