We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Inspection Engineer

to perform independent inspection services for oil & gas and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform independent inspections, surveillance, witness, and verification activities at vendor workshops, fabrication yards, or manufacturing facilities. Ensure strict adherence to applicable codes, client specifications, drawings, and international standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, ISO). Verify compliance of welding procedures (WPS/PQR), material certificates (MTC), and welder qualifications. Witness and review all stages of NDT (UT, RT, MT, PT), hydrotesting, dimensional checks, and pressure testing. Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control Plans. Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, punch lists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and release notes. Liaise with clients, vendors, fabricators, and certifying authorities to resolve quality-related issues. Ensure proper documentation and traceability for final data books or manufacturing record books (MRBs). Support vendor qualification and audits when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering. Minimum [5+] years of inspection experience in oil & gas, pressure equipment, piping, structural fabrication, or heavy engineering. Certified CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, AWS CWI, or equivalent. NDT Level II or higher in UT, RT, MT, PT (as applicable). Strong understanding of fabrication processes, material traceability, welding techniques, and testing procedures.
