Inspection Engineer
Job Description
Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, hoists, forklifts, Elevator) and lifting accessories (e.g., slings, chains, hooks) according to regulatory standards (e.g., LOLER, OSHA, EN, ISO 17020)
Ensure lifting equipment complies with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., LOLER, PUWER, ISO 17020)
Issue certificates of conformity, test certificates, and safety compliance certificates for lifting equipment and accessories.
Work Closely with ENAS Requirements and Awareness about ISO 17020 standards.
Strong understanding of lifting equipment operation, safety standards, and mechanical systems.
Proficient in using inspection tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) Certification (or equivalent) is additional advantage.
Education& Experience:
4-5 years of experience working in the inspection or maintenance of lifting equipment and lifting accessories. Hands-on experience with a variety of lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, hoists, Lifts) and accessories (e.g., slings, shackles, lifting beams). Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Safety Engineering or a related field.
