We are looking for a highly motivated Team Leader (Inside Sales) to take responsibility for developing the regional NAS (Inside Sales) team to increase lead qualification and sales conversion activities for new and repeat business, in the Middle East, Africa and India regions. The Details... To work alongside the Sales Manager, Customer Service and Technical Support teams and to liaise with the field-based sales teams to best address the needs of each customer and deliver exceptional account management support whilst developing and supporting the team and success of the business. Responsibilities include: Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new starters using local resources to increase the speed of integration into the team
  • Provide regular sales coaching and feedback sessions with team members (call shadowing and group role-play sessions)
  • Monitor inbound customer queries/cases and assign them to the appropriate team member
  • Reporting progress to critical metrics and percentage to quota
  • Working closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns and initiatives
  • Compile marketing/PM team updates for outbound communication to accounts
  • Assist in target and quota setting activities
  • Works closely with Regional Sales Manager and other relevant teams to implement improvements to process, sales, and operational tools
  • Present important metric updates in regional calls
  • Assists with weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting
  • Contribute to building overall team strategy
  • Coordination of wider projects and internal partners to benefit the team
  • Cover tasks and responsibilities of management when needed
  • Supervise day-to-day teams\' operation and performance
  • Motivate the team members to complete assigned tasks
  • Support the team with problem solving.

We\'ll expect you to have a BSc degree and/or Masters in Life Sciences, genetics and genomics and ideally a PhD level qualification in Life Sciences or a relevant field. You\'ll have prior sales experience, preferably inside sales and have worked with research/life science customers and you know your way around CRM systems. In addition, you have an understanding of current DNA sequencing technologies and their applications, strong communication and influencing skills and knowledge of the Life Sciences and Genomics market. You consider one of your key strengths to be your ability to build strong relationships with others, and you\'re someone who values teamwork. Ideally, you have experience of working in a global team working with field-based staff to deliver territory goals. You\'re comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced matrixed sales and service environment where you\'ve implemented successful marketing and sales campaigns. You have a positive approach with a can-do attitude and like to use your initiative, yet you\'re able to exercise sound judgement and tact.
