Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers via phone, email, and online platforms. Identify and qualify leads through targeted prospecting and market research. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial contact to close. Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and industry applications.
2. Customer Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, pricing requests, and order processing. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers. Address customer concerns and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service.
3. Industry & Product Expertise

Understand the properties, applications, and regulatory requirements of the chemicals being sold. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities. Work with technical teams to ensure customers receive accurate product specifications and safety information.
4. Sales Support & Order Management

Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow up on customer orders. Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activity and performance.
5. Marketing & Outreach

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for lead generation. Attend virtual trade shows, webinars, and industry events to represent the company. Share customer feedback with product development teams to enhance offerings.
Qualifications & Skills:

? Required:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field. 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience (preferably in B2B or chemical sales). Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to learn technical product information and translate it into customer benefits. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
? Preferred:

Experience in chemical distribution, specialty chemicals, or lab supplies. Knowledge of regulatory compliance (REACH, OSHA, FDA, etc.). Previous experience working with industrial, pharmaceutical, or biotech clients.
Daily Activities for an Inside Sales Representative - Chemical Sales

Morning Routine (8:00 AM - 10:00 AM)

? Check & Respond to Emails - Address customer inquiries, follow up on quotes, and review any urgent messages.

? Review Daily Sales Goals & Priorities - Look at CRM tasks, open leads, and pending follow-ups.

? Team Check-In (if applicable) - Attend a quick sales meeting or review performance updates.

? Lead & Prospect Research - Identify new potential customers using LinkedIn, industry databases, or CRM tools.

Mid-Morning Sales Outreach (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

? Cold & Warm Outreach - Call or email potential customers to introduce products and qualify leads.

? Follow-Up on Quotes & Proposals - Check in with prospects who have received pricing or information.

? Schedule & Confirm Meetings - Book product demos or technical discussions with decision-makers.

? CRM Updates - Log all interactions, update lead statuses, and set follow-up reminders.

Afternoon Customer Engagement (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM)

? Customer Check-Ins - Reach out to existing accounts to strengthen relationships and identify upsell opportunities.

? Product Consultation Calls - Discuss customer needs, recommend solutions, and explain product benefits.

? Collaborate with Technical Teams - Work with product specialists or chemists to provide accurate product information.

? Process & Track Orders - Ensure that customer purchases are moving through the system correctly.

? Handle Any Outstanding Customer Requests - Address pricing questions, order status updates, or product inquiries.

? Market Research & Competitor Analysis - Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging opportunities.

? Sales Strategy Planning - Review progress toward weekly/monthly targets and adjust approach as needed.

? Training & Development - Participate in internal product training, webinars, or industry learning sessions.

? Review Key Wins & Challenges - Assess the day's progress and note any roadblocks.

? Set Priorities for Tomorrow - Identify high-priority leads, pending follow-ups, or scheduled meetings.

? CRM Updates & Reporting - Ensure all activity is logged for tracking performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40.00DH - 80.00DH per hour
