The Role
Job purpose: To hold the post of Registered Manager and to therefore be responsible for all aspects of safely managing the home on a day to day basis, including complying with all of the requirements of that and any other relevant legislation. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Overall responsibility for insuring the safe operation of the site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Overseeing staffing to ensure correct levels at all times \xe2\x80\xa2 Compliance with all aspects of the Health and Social Act \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain good relationship with the regulatory bodies \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle all client or other complaints related to the service provided \xe2\x80\xa2 Financial responsibility for budgeting and cost control across the company \xe2\x80\xa2 Operation of all aspects of nursing including management of controlled drugs \xe2\x80\xa2 Operation of book keeping, including agreeing funding arrangements with clients within agreed parameters and collection of outstanding amounts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Operation of catering all aspects \xe2\x80\xa2 Operation of housekeeping all aspects \xe2\x80\xa2 Operation of reception all aspects \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintenance and safe operation of all aspects of facilities management \xe2\x80\xa2 Data protection all aspects \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage Clinical Governance processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage Medical Advisory Committee processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Management of company group personal pension scheme \xe2\x80\xa2 Business, Employment & Public Liability, Buildings & Property insurance \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional Indemnity insurance \xe2\x80\xa2 IT management \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage all aspects of Human Resource compliance \xe2\x80\xa2 Compile company annual training program \xe2\x80\xa2 Grievance and disciplinary matters \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintenance of personnel records \xe2\x80\xa2 All other aspects of HR administration and compliance with relevant employment law. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversight and implementation of supervision and appraisal schemes \xe2\x80\xa2 Security, Fire safety, Health & Safety all aspects inc PAT testing & water testing Pattern of work: \xe2\x80\xa2 37.5 hours per week, usually Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri 9-5 and additionally as may be required to fulfil the responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Some bank holidays may be necessary as required \xe2\x80\xa2 You are eligible for a bonus subject to company performance and successful achievement of the targets specified.

Requirements
Person specification: \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly organised with strong administrative skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent interpersonal and people management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with Care Standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Sufficient personal credibility to represent the organisation in dealings with Staff, Clients, regulatory body, or other external bodies.
