Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role are to lead/assist/coordinate and carry out various projects assigned by the Department Head pertaining to Innovations and New Technologies. It includes driving/coordinating/assisting the exploration, evaluation, and timely implementation of groundbreaking innovations to propel organization to the forefront of sustainable energy solutions for the upcoming projects. It also includes working closely with ACWA Power Innovation team for various projects and keeping them up to date about the Center of Excellence Innovation landscape.
Who will fit:
- 5 to 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience preferably in the Power & Water sector with minimum 3 to 5 years of Project Development/Management experience and 3 to 5 years of hands-on O&M experience in power industry.
- Good depth and breadth of knowledge and exposure to to Power industry (including Solar PV) with a very good understanding of power plant automation.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.

- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Very good report writing.
- Ability to work in a matrix, goal-driven organizations, and ability to multi-task on a variety of projects to strict time scales.
- Quickly identify best practices and apply them within the team.
- Commercial awareness to also consider non-technical boundary conditions.
- A pro-active high achiever with high energy levels, who is used to working under pressure and to tight/challenging deadlines.
- Understanding of technical, legal and project finance knowledge is preferable
