Job Description

Developing, revising and updating the innovation strategy and policy in line with the dans vision, mission and strategy as well as government strategies. Develop appropriate innovation governance practices, policies, processes, procedures in alignment with leading practices. Facilitate creating an effective partnership network with universities, scientific research centers and stakeholders in both the public and private sectors, with a view of supporting the innovation process to ensure the integrity and utilization of all potential and available resources. Build innovation culture through implementing innovation awareness and capacity building programmes for different levels of employees to promote a culture of innovation, and enable them to contribute effectively in innovation and creativity activities. Establish and implement knowledge management and information framework to ensure optimum utilization of knowledge and information, to help identify available opportunities for innovation and creativity throughout the organization as well as with related stakeholders. Monitor and report the effectiveness, performance results, and value realization of corporate innovation management practices. Facilitate registration of Intellectual property (IP) of the key unique innovative ideas and projects within dans that contribute in strengthen innovation achievement and keep records of them. Support the participation in global and local government innovation programs and related initiatives and projects. Undertakes similar or related duties as directed by senior management.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Industrial Engineering is preferable) such as Business Administration or Management with practical experience in this field for not less than (10) years. Master's degree in Business Administration or a related subject is preferable with practical experience in this field for not less than (8) years. Excellent knowledge and practical experience in innovation management and future foresight. The capability to train, guide, and promote awareness of innovation concepts requirements and deployment.
