Job Overview
The Infrastructure Projects Specialist will manage infrastructure project portfolios, coordinate performance evaluations, conduct field visits, support technical reporting, and provide continuous recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery across Masar entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to project management practices for infrastructure project monitoring and follow-up
- Develop frameworks and dashboards for project performance management
- Monitor and evaluate processes related to infrastructure project execution
- Provide support and reporting for committees and teams handling infrastructure initiatives
- Offer technical suggestions and recommendations regarding various infrastructure projects
- Conduct field inspections to monitor project progress and identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate with teams to address challenges and escalate risks impacting project delivery
- Evaluate the performance of Masar teams and committees based on approved criteria
- Manage portfolios of studies, strategies, and infrastructure policy projects
- Prepare technical summaries, presentations, and plans for high-level meetings
- Regularly update and review priorities of infrastructure projects with Masar entities
- Ensure timely closure of directives issued by the Commissioner-General and prepare related reports
- Support the preparation of engineering plans and technical reports for Masar entities
- Analyze and summarize reports and outputs from committees and development plans
- Propose innovative initiatives and projects to enhance efficiency across Masar operations
- Comply strictly with RTA's Information Security policies and protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support infrastructure and urban planning affairs
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
- Master's Degree preferred
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 11 years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree: Minimum 9 years of relevant experience
Skills:
- Expertise in project performance management and budget management
- Advanced technical reporting and analytical skills
- Strong schedule management and operational planning capabilities
- Ability to propose actionable initiatives with tangible impact
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
