Job Purpose: Maintain required level of working relationship with internal and external parties. Provide high levels of customer service and build and maintain relationships with users. Technology Requirements, Asset, Configuration and Capacity Management Key Accountabilities:
Ensure a High Service Level of IT software and infrastructure by working closely with our internal IT applications and infrastructure teams, and other outsource vendors
Support HO and Global Users on their current IT needs and to help specify future users\xe2\x80\x99 needs into software and hardware specifications
Train and Communicate with HO IT users\xe2\x80\x99 revisions on IT governances, applications updates and users training on office automation tools.
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically via email or via personal visit where able to, diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues \xe2\x80\x93 else ensure relevant person from team is involved
Advise user on appropriate action when approached with their problems or doubts \xe2\x80\x93 or point them to the appropriate person
Vendor and contract staff management for all IT related projects in DP World
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions. Follow through to close open calls. Prepare activity reports
Inform management of analysis on cause/effect of recurring problems
Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Asset management for IT devices maintained in system accordingly.
Responsible to ensure that the HO IT operation is administered and managed in a timely manner
Ensure that all employees of HO IT complies with the requirements of DPW including changing HC requirements which might change from time to time, security and privacy requirements, and that all administrative work are done and complied within set timeframes.
Ensure that all contracts and its necessary DOA are confirmed, all service and maintenance agreements are adequately delivered and renewed.
The budget for IT and other departments are maintained appropriately and required expenditure approvals raised and provided accordingly.
Chargebacks pertaining to all IT applications (BT, Oracle, Microsoft) informed timely to the users
Monthly IT reports initiated and sent to top management in a timely manner
Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World\xe2\x80\x99s Founder\xe2\x80\x99s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
3+ Years of experience in User/Technical support, PC administration, Windows, Mac, Microsoft office products and iOS, and Android mobile phones
Ability to understand the importance of a request; evaluate, prioritize and consolidate requests thereby increasing efficiency and reducing cost.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and properly manage expectations
Ability to manage multiple issues while maintaining short response and resolution times
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
