Job Title: Infrastructure Electrical Inspector

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Electrical Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards and regulations. The Infrastructure Electrical Inspector will also be responsible for identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of electrical installations and equipment at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards and regulations.

• Verify that electrical drawings, specifications and design documents are being followed during construction.

• Monitor the performance of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that work is performed to the required standards.

• Identify and report on any deficiencies in construction quality, material, equipment or workmanship.

• Review contractor submittals and approve electrical materials and equipment.

• Ensure that all electrical installations and equipment are properly tested and commissioned prior to use.

• Monitor safety compliance, identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.

• Attend meetings with contractors, clients and other stakeholders to discuss electrical installation issues and resolve any outstanding matters.

• Prepare daily reports and maintain records of inspections, tests and measurements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 1o years of experience as an Electrical Inspector in the infrastructure sector.

• Knowledge of UAE Electrical Codes and Regulations.

• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and procedures.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Certification as an Electrical Inspector is preferred.
