Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated

IT Faculty Member

to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will hold a

PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

, with

2-3 years of teaching or research experience

at the collegiate level. The faculty member will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and student mentorship in line with the department's academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in IT-related subjects such as programming, databases, cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI/ML, etc. Design course content, assignments, and evaluation methods in accordance with the academic curriculum. Guide students in research projects, internships, and capstone projects. Engage in academic advising and mentorship of students. Conduct scholarly research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in conferences. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review, and academic planning. Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary research and innovation projects. Contribute to the institution's outreach, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field

from a recognized university. Minimum

2-3 years of post-PhD teaching experience

in a recognized college or university. Strong record of research and publications in reputed journals/conferences (Scopus/Web of Science preferred). Proven expertise in areas such as software engineering, data science, networking, cloud computing, or cybersecurity. Familiarity with modern pedagogical methods, including blended and online learning. Experience with academic accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, etc.) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching, innovation, and research. Ability to mentor diverse student groups and foster an inclusive learning environment. Proficient in relevant IT tools, programming languages, and lab technologies.
