Information Security Specialist (Emiratization)

Tabreed Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates This role requires a technical expert with broad experience in architecting and implementing information security technology solutions in a large enterprise environment. The candidate must act as a technical leader to support talent development and build high-performance teams. The Cybersecurity Specialist will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Sr. Network Engineer, Systems Architect, and other teams, to implement effective business solutions. A deep and broad background in information security and related services is essential, along with current knowledge of emerging best practices, service trends, and all aspects of cloud computing. Responsibilities include:

Development, testing, analysis, and implementation of security systems Assessment and management of system vulnerabilities Responding to security threats, attacks, and incidents Developing threat prevention strategies Conducting black/white box security assessments using industry-standard tools Generating regular reports for executives and administrators Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment policies Working independently on technical issues and recommending design solutions Demonstrating understanding of infrastructure, virtualization, cybersecurity standards, and operating procedures Collaborating to develop new protocols and protection layers to stay ahead of cyber threats Maintaining security guidelines, procedures, standards, and controls documentation Staying informed about current cybercrime tactics Leading analysis of current technology environments to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements Participating in incident response analyses Leading design sessions with internal and external stakeholders Consulting on application and infrastructure development projects for system harmonization Assisting with designing governance activities to ensure policy compliance Monitoring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures Defining migration plans to bridge current and future states in line with planning processes Job Dimensions:

Leading risk reduction strategies for critical digital assets Developing cyber security control implementation strategies for sustainable risk reduction Establishing KPIs to monitor cyber risks Communicating cyber security issues and risks to senior leadership Acting as liaison with UAE regulatory authorities to ensure compliance Leading Solutions Design:

Creating deliverables for technology solution design and analysis Building, implementing, and supporting enterprise-class security systems Designing security architecture to mitigate emerging threats Balancing business needs with cybersecurity requirements Analyzing risks and reporting appropriately Building risk awareness through support and training Framework:

Following international frameworks for IT service management, strategic planning aligned with company objectives, and researching new technologies to support future organizational needs. Minimum Qualifications:

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in IT & OT cybersecurity Hands-on experience with mission-critical cybersecurity operations Experience in building service-oriented organizations and promoting service delivery Excellent analytical skills and project management abilities Experience with vendor negotiations and SLA management High integrity, confidentiality, and maturity Self-starter with accountability and minimal supervision Limited travel and flexibility for after-hours or weekend work Additional Details:
