Job description Position Summary: Industrial Product Designers plan, design, develop and document industrial, commercial or consumer products for manufacture with particular emphasis on ergonomic (human) factors, marketing considerations and manufacturability, and prepare designs and specifications of products for mass or batch production. Position Details: You will work with team of mechanical and electrical engineer to support micro-business, startups, SMEs, and the manufacturing sector in product development, and product consultation. Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Determines the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders.
• Undertakes product research and analyses functional, commercial, cultural and aesthetic requirements.
• Formulates design concepts for industrial, commercial and consumer products.
• Prepares sketches, diagrams, illustrations, plans, samples and models to communicate design concepts.
• Negotiates design solutions with clients, management, engineer staff.
• Selects, specifies and recommends functional and aesthetic materials, production methods and finishes for manufacture.
• Details and documents the selected design for production.
• Prepares and commissions prototypes and samples.
• Supervises the preparation of patterns, programmers and tooling, and the fabrication/manufacturing process.
• Deliver workshop in industrial design, material selection, and material waste for microbusiness, startup, and SMEs.

About you:

• You have minimum 3 years of experience in industrial design, or any similar filed.
• You have minimum 2 years of experience in digital fabrication tools such as; 3D printers, 3D scanner, CNC, and laser cutter.
• Good knowledge in different 3D and 2D modeling software such as; Rhino, SolidWork, Adobe illustrator, and Adobe photoshop.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical ability and presentation skills.
• Ability to deal with people at different level including senior management.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks with project team with management level accountability.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: From QAR12,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
