3D modeling, mechanical layout, manufacturability, and production-ready documentation

clean, optimized, and scalable designs

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Mechanical Design
Design
industrial products and assemblies
from concept to production
Create
accurate 3D models and assemblies
Optimize
space utilization, serviceability, and structural integrity
Design
rack-mountable and floor-mounted products
Engineering & Layout
Perform
component placement and mechanical alignment
Define
mounting methods, fasteners, brackets, and supports
Ensure designs are suitable for
high-reliability and enterprise environments
Manufacturing & Documentation
Produce
manufacturing-ready outputs
, including:
2D drawings (DWG / DXF / PDF)
CNC and laser-cut drawings
Fabrication and assembly drawings
Create and maintain
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Support
sheet-metal, CNC, and fabrication workflows
Prototyping & Design Improvement
Support
prototype builds and mock-ups
Refine designs based on
manufacturing, testing, and field feedback
Assist in transitioning designs from
prototype to mass production
Visual & Presentation Support
Prepare
clean, presentation-ready visuals
, diagrams, and layouts for internal or customer-facing documentation
Required Skills & ExperienceMust Have
Experience in
product, mechanical, or industrial design
Strong hands-on knowledge of
3D CAD tools
, such as:
SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, FreeCAD, or similar
Good understanding of:
Sheet-metal design
Manufacturing tolerances and clearances
Mechanical fittings and fasteners
Ability to generate
clear, accurate manufacturing drawings
Good to Have
Experience designing
racks, enclosures, power products, or industrial hardware
Familiarity with
modular product design
Basic understanding of
electrical components and layouts
Ability to use
Adobe Photoshop or similar tools
to enhance renders, diagrams, and presentation-quality visuals
Exposure to
3D printing and prototyping workflows
Deliverables Expected
3D design files (STEP and native CAD formats)
2D fabrication and assembly drawings
DXF files for CNC / laser cutting
Bill of Materials (BOM)
STL files for prototype printing (if required)
