Key Responsibilities:Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) and safety regulations.
Manage and mentor technical staff, including chemists, technicians, and QA personnel.
Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective testing and reporting.
Implement and maintain quality management systems and process improvements.
Coordinate maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services through events, digital campaigns, and proposals.
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in an industrial or commercial laboratory setting.
Proven experience in laboratory management and client engagement/business development.
Strong understanding of laboratory standards and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Business acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
