Job Overview:

Best Ways Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Industrial General Practitioner (GP) to join our team in Abu Dhabi (Western Region). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to employees, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, and promoting health education across the organization. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care, emergency response, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat patients in an outpatient setting, ensuring effective and timely medical care. Monitor and evaluate the occupational health of staff, ensuring a healthy work environment and addressing any work-related health concerns. Provide health education to employees, promoting overall wellness and preventative care. Refer patients to specialists as necessary for further evaluation and treatment outside the Medical Centre. Ensure hygiene standards and cleanliness are maintained in the Medical Centre, and report any contagious diseases to the Department of Health (DOH) in line with regulations. Conduct medical fitness assessments for new employees, offshore personnel, and periodic evaluations of staff to determine work fitness levels. Lead and manage offshore medical emergencies and provide on-site medical assistance when required. Ensure strict compliance with Medical Centre policies and DOH guidelines. Oversee and maintain proper medical supplies and equipment in the Medical Centre and offshore locations to ensure readiness for emergency situations. Conduct in-house Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions for medical staff, focusing on patient care, emergency response, and common medical conditions. Stay current with the latest medical developments, drugs, and treatments by attending DOH-certified conferences.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery. Department of Health (DOH) License to practice as a General Practitioner. Strong command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in medical software and computer skills.
