Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Industrial Electrician

to support the electrical setup and operations of our newly established tobacco manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in industrial wiring, cabling, electrical installation, and maintenance, particularly in heavy-duty environments. This role is essential for the commissioning, operation, and ongoing support of plant machinery and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and route electrical wiring, conduits, and cable trays according to industrial standards and electrical layout drawings. Connect and install electrical systems and components including motors, control panels, distribution boards, lighting, and machinery. Execute low and medium voltage wiring tasks for production equipment and power distribution systems. Perform precise cable termination, glanding, and labeling in accordance with technical standards. Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Ensure proper earthing, grounding, and insulation across all electrical installations. Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems using appropriate testing tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers). Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and mechanical teams during equipment installation and system integration. Strictly follow electrical safety standards, company procedures, and local regulatory requirements. Carry out electrical troubleshooting, corrective repairs, and preventive maintenance across the plant. Maintain clear documentation of electrical modifications, inspections, and service logs.

Requirements:

Proven experience in industrial wiring and cabling installations. Knowledge of UAE / local electrical codes and safety practices. Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Ability to work from technical drawings and perform accurate installations. Familiarity with electrical tools (e.g., multimeter, megger, cable cutters, conduit benders). Ability to work independently and in a team during the setup phase of a new industrial site.
