Industrial Designer
Job Description
The Role
As a furniture designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing innovative designs for furniture products, considering aesthetics, functionality, and materials.
- Responsibilities:
Create original designs for various types of closets and bedroom furniture.
Stay updated on market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to incorporate into designs.
Develop prototypes and models to visualize concepts and test functionality.
Work closely with the production team.
Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD, SketchUp software.
Ensure final products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in furniture design, product design, or a related area is preferred.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp), strong sketching abilities, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
A strong portfolio demonstrating previous design projects and creative work.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Adaptability and openness to feedback.
