Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced

Indian Cook

to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in preparing a variety of authentic

North and/or South Indian dishes

, with strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking methods, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook a wide range of

Indian dishes

including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, breads (naan, roti), and snacks. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Ensure proper use of fresh ingredients, spices, and traditional Indian cooking techniques. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area. Work with the kitchen team to manage food prep, cooking, and service during busy hours. Monitor inventory and assist with stock ordering and rotation. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:



Proven experience as an Indian Cook (restaurant, hotel, or catering preferred). Deep understanding of Indian culinary styles (e.g. Punjabi, South Indian, Mughlai, Street Food, etc.). Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a strong work ethic. Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices. Culinary training or certification is a plus.
