First established in 2010, Citymax Hotels currently own and operate 6 hotels (1,986 keys) in the UAE at Al Barsha (2 hotels), Bur Dubai, Sharjah, Business Bay and Ras al Khaimah. In addition, Citymax Hotels operates a hotel under a management contract in Aswan, Egypt (79 keys), with further managed properties under development in Egypt and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

Job Purpose \xe2\x80\x93

Primary responsibility of the role is to analyze the financial reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Key Accountabilities \xe2\x80\x93

• Review and verify Night Auditors logbook, daily revenue report and daily Food & Beverage report with supporting vouchers and trial balance
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining Director of Finance / Financial Controller\xe2\x80\x99s approval
• Review rage variance report in order to ensure the correct rate is applied
• Review the city ledger and credit card transfers of the day and pass the same to the Accounts Receivable
• Audit the daily cash summary and update General Cashier\xe2\x80\x99s report
• Review overages and shortages of Cashiers and take appropriate action and review Front Office foreign exchange rates as and when required
• Conduct float counting of all house fund holders on a weekly basis and prepare a monthly float count summary.
• Conducts regular audits and suggests methods of reducing waste.
