The Income Auditor maintains all necessary income reports and journals by accurately auditing the daily revenues of the hotel, in accordance with hotel accounting and financial controls, and within the policies and procedures as outlined in hotel and corporate policies and guidelines, and the hotel\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s business plan.

Key Responsibilities of Income Auditor:
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Performs an audit of the daily night audit insuring its accuracy and completeness

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Distributes work to the appropriate accounting staff

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Spreads all miscellaneous waiting accounts and processes in the computer

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Prepares all necessary daily reports including the daily sales report

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Prepares weekly sales report for the Controller in a timely manner

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Maintains filing systems for the daily information; registration cards, credit cards, restaurant charges, promotional tickets and coupons, zero/cash folios, etc.

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Controls the restaurant guest checks

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Issues outlet guest cheques upon request

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Issues and tracks all banquet tickets

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Maintains an adequate inventory of all guest checks

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Prepares all necessary period end closing reports

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Completes period end journals

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Reconciles garage and miscellaneous revenues

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Completes forecast accuracy report of rooms, guests, and food and beverage outlets

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Assists the Cost Controller in the month end storeroom physical inventory

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Prepares reports as requested to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities

Requirements of Income Auditor:

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Minimum 1 year of experience

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Excellent team player with strong communication skills, you will have a passion for delivering a great customer experience

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Previous experience of using ISCALA and Opera Property Management System is advantageous
