Inclusion & Diversity Business Partner (6 months contract) This role is responsible for the coordination and deployment of the Inclusion & Diversity strategy at GHD and may require time spent or focused on particular areas of the business depending on the need. The I&D Business Partner reports directly to the Global Inclusion and Diversity Leader and partners closely with Inclusion & Diversity leads, ERG leaders, People team members and other key stakeholders across the business. The role is also responsible for working collaboratively and cross functionally for the coordination, execution, and support of the Inclusion & Diversity function. Roles and responsibilities: As Global Inclusion & Diversity Business Partner you\'ll work closely to support the Inclusion & Diversity Leaders (APAC and Americas/EMEA) and report directly to the Global Inclusion & Diversity Leader to complete the Inclusion & Diversity strategy. You will support the Global Inclusion & Diversity Leader in coordinating activities with the Global Inclusion & Diversity Council and also help to research innovative content and practices in the area of Inclusion, Equity & Diversity. You will identify and recommend ideas and programs that supply to and promote diversity and inclusion at GHD. You will be flexible and work on a variety of projects as needed by the Global I&D function. You\'ll run a project interacting with the project sponsor to maintain the scope, cost and schedule of moderate to complex projects. This will include developing and maintaining the project management plan and handling communications. Although you\'ll receive general supervision, you will also need to be comfortable working independently. Your work may be reviewed occasionally depending on the project. Additional duties include:
  • Understand recognized project management standards, including scope, scheduling, planning, time management, resource management, communication and cost management. Apply these to moderate to complex projects.
  • Build, develop and manage scope and project plans, including a schedule for complex projects.
  • Help design I&D initiatives.
  • Build key project communications for senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and report project/program progress, using quality and performance metrics appropriate to the project/program.
  • Handle resources, tasks and costs based on the project plan.
  • Apply judgment in tailoring methodologies, processes and practices to specific requirements of programs/projects and business units.
  • Participate actively in external diversity conferences and organizations.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and opportunities.
  • Make decisions on project requirements, and assign appropriate resources.
  • Identify alternative ways to achieve project/program goals.
  • Gain an understanding of GHD\xe2\x80\x99s culture, business objectives and business needs.
  • Be the central point of contact and help I&D team prepare and provide updates for key stakeholders, including I&D Committee members, ERG leaders, People team members regarding the Inclusion & Diversity strategy and resources.
  • Handle I&D reporting for Global Enterprise and assist Global I&D Leader in analyzing data reports and trends and make recommendations or provide meaningful insights.
  • Lead any MS Teams sites or Yammer communities used for the delivery of Inclusion & Diversity related updates.
  • As required, this role may need to support the efficient scheduling & coordination of other events & programs in the Inclusion & Diversity function.
To be successful in this role, you will posses:
  • Highly hardworking and committed to inclusion, equity and diversity related topics.
  • Typically, 3+ years proven experience in the Inclusion, Equity and Diversity space.
  • High level of skill in Microsoft office suite, particularly presentations for executive audiences.
  • Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong team work ethic and the confidence to take initiative.
  • Detail orientation with strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a demanding workload and competing priorities.
  • Proactive internal client service and continuous improvement approach.
  • Experience in & ability to work flexible hours and virtually, given the geographic scope of role.
  • Competent at influencing all levels of the firm.
  • Ability to explain difficult concepts and sensitive issues.
  • Experience working in a global organization or across diverse cultural environments.
  • Proficiency in database management.
  • Experience in presenting and facilitating workshops related to Inclusion, Equity and Diversity topics.
  • Community engagement and networks related to inclusion, equity and diversity.
  • Experience with I&D or HR data reporting and analytics.
  • Experience drafting I&D communications for senior level and organizational audiences.
