Job Description

Your Role

You will be responsible for the primary freight planning activities from factory to warehouse and the overall stock and warehouse process management at the 3PL warehouse.
A Typical Day

Work with third-party service providers and internal teams for stock inbound & warehousing
Carry out the freight planning for all PO\xe2\x80\x99s. Follow up for bookings and ETD/ETA
Collaborate with 3PL for container ETA, Inbound clearance, and inland transportation planning
Perform the documentation for all inbound shipments
Manage the alerting process towards 3PL and support the team on the critical cases to avoid at demurrage or detention costs
Warehouse stock management & Inventory control
Management of Slow and Obsolete stock, coordination with internal teams to reduce this stock level
Provide monthly freight and 3PL cost reconciliation to Finance
Carry out the Annual container planning and monthly container forecasting forecast
Track cost performance against agreed budgets to ensure that requirements are met

Who You Are

Prior work experience with a 3PL company
Efficient in Inventory management processes
Knowledge on Freight forwarding Process, Incoterms and documentation, UAE Inbound customs process knowhow,
SAP experience
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint)
Having agile and growth mindset
