• Answer Room Service phone within 3 rings, using correct salutation and telephone etiquette
• Take guests\xe2\x80\x99 food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques and following all departmental standards
• Ensure accuracy of guest name and room number of each order for delivery
• Anticipate guests\xe2\x80\x99 needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy
• Handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Access all functions of micros system in accordance to specifications.
• Contact guests10 minutes after order is delivered to ensure guest satisfaction and to suggest additional orders; resolve any problem promptly
• Organize, document and track pick-up of dirty trays/tables; direct staff as required to retrieve dirty trays/tables
• Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies
• Complete designated closing reports in the Micros system

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as In Room Dining Order taker, preferably in luxury 5* hotel.
• A total of 4-5 years Food and Beverage experience.
• Able to work under pressure and manage stress.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Able to work with speed and efficiency throughout maintaining positive attitude.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of Micros system.
• Intermediate level - Microsoft Office applications- particularly Excel and Power Point.
