IMS SME (Integrated Maintenance Solution Subject Expert) Grade: 7 Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The purpose of this role is for the Revision of Task Definitions within the Integrated Maintenance Solution (IMS) Maintenix Library, replacement of, or amendment to a Task within an individual Work Package. To interpret and reflect maintenance requirements into Maintenix Task Definitions. Accurately transcribe and make precise reference from Maintenix Task Definitions to the approved maintenance data aligned to the latest revision issue number. Also to break down tasks where appropriate, into multiple manageable Task Definition Job Instruction Cards, to enable a more accurate and effective production planning. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The generation and daily management of Task Definitions to satisfy the Maintenance Tasking, including ADF/LIM/ADH/ADM work as agreed during the PIRM process for the Aircraft in SMU. The generation and daily management of Task Definitions to satisfy OOP and EI's tasks as agreed during the PIRM process for the Aircraft in SMU. Respond to the Maintenix Engineer's "To Do List" and generate Task Definitions for Emergent Work or reported problems with existing Task Definitions. Assist in the provision of Maintenance data for BAE Systems internal reporting application, managing reports generated from Maintenix when necessary. Raise Technical Publications Request Form (TPRF's) against approved data when necessary. Adhere to Business Processes, Work Instructions held within eQMS. This post provides opportunities for development commensurate with the future expansion of SMU and transfer to new facilities. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION Essential Completion of IMS Maintenance Support Training courses (Fundamentals, E-Learning, classroom modules and OJT) Extensive post Qualification experience of Military Aircraft Maintenance utilizing the Maintenix toolset. Completed a recognized Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship in Industry/Military or similar Qualification in Aircraft Systems. Considerable Aerospace and Defense Company/Industry knowledge, an understanding of RSAF Engineering Operating Procedures. Excellent level of interpersonal skill and the ability to communicate with, Maintenance Manager/Deputy, Senior Supervisors and RSAF Personnel. A working knowledge of military and MAOS Mil Part M regulations. A good working knowledge of ESS and data management. Desirable Previous Typhoon Specialist Trade System experience and a 'Q' annotation. IT competency for MS Office. Awareness of Human Factors and human performance issues.
