Job Description

Job description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Import/Export Manager. The candidate must possess Excellent speaking and writing skills- At least (5) years of UAE work experience with Cosmetics or Pharmaceutical products. They are responsible for overseeing the entire export process, from beginning to end. This includes everything from sourcing raw materials and supplies to shipping products overseas and ensuring they arrive in good condition. Responsibilities
  • Managing the company\xe2\x80\x99s shipping operations, including scheduling appointments with shipping companies and filing customs paperwork.
  • Managing inventory by monitoring the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse to ensure that they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers of raw materials or manufacturers who use the company\xe2\x80\x99s products.
  • Negotiating contracts with customers regarding prices, product quality, and delivery times.
  • Monitoring market trends to determine which products will be in demand in the future.
  • Monitoring industry regulations and compliance issues related to importing and exporting goods.
  • Meeting regularly with suppliers or customers to establish new business relationships or maintain existing ones.
  • Conducting audits of suppliers or business partners to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Preparing reports on inventory levels, sales figures, and other metrics to help management make business decisions.
  • Submitting pre-shipment documentation and documentary instructions with relevant teams/authorities.
  • Follow up on document drafts. Preparation of draft shipment documents where necessary.
  • Follow up logistical organization of products; ensure that products have been transported in a correct and timely fashion.
  • Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.
  • Organize the completion of official documents such as letters of credit, shipping orders, and certificates of origin.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with import and export requirements to avoid customs claims, supply chain interruption, and increased overall costs.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in import and export operations.
  • Previous experience within the UAE or other GCC countries.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs clearance processes.
  • Previous experience in Logistics, distribution, and export pharmaceutical or cosmetic goods operations.
  • Export & Import Documentation Experience required.
  • Knowledge regarding pharmaceutical products.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Education
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
