Import/export Executive

Job Description

Our client, a distributor and supplier of chemical products is seeking to hire a Import/Export Executive for their office based in Ajman.Job Responsibilities:
  • Placing order to local & international Vendors
  • Sending purchase orders to Vendors & demand for Proforma Invoice
  • For local purchases, arrange to collect/ request to deliver material wherever they request from the Vendors as per the requirement by sales-person.
  • Prepare Letter of Credit after receipt of P.I (if the payment term is LC) and follow for LC from Bank
  • Send LC copy/advance payment swift copy to the Vendors & start following for the shipment.
  • Follow for the shipment after every alternate day with the venders & keep record updated.
  • Some import shipment (especially food related & some dangerous goods) need inspection to be done by respective authorities
  • Maintain proper record of all import shipments, sorting out day to day routine issues with shipping lines & Banks
Education & other requirements:
  • Bachelor`s Degree in any vertical
  • 2+ years of experience in relevant industry
  • Candidates from Paint & Coatings, Construction, Adhesives, Food, Fragrances, Personal Care, Flavors, Plastic industry would be preferred.
Salary: Upto AED 5000Working Hours/Days: 8.30am to 5.30pmAlternate Saturdays off, working Saturday half day 8.30am to 2pmJob Location: Ajman Industrial Area
