Job Title: Implementation Manager-Fixed Network

JOB PURPOSE: The Implementation Manager - Fixed Network is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of fixed network infrastructure, including fiber-optic and broadband services. This role involves managing vendors, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards. Strong understanding of fixed network technologies (FTTH, FTTX, DSL, GPON, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS

Project Planning & Execution

Lead the end-to-end implementation of fixed network projects (fiber, DSL, HFC, etc.).

Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

Ensure smooth execution from design to commissioning, minimizing delays.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders (municipal authorities, service providers, etc.).

Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance.

Network Deployment & Quality Assurance

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fixed network infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with network design and regulatory guidelines.

Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards.

Budget & Cost Control

Monitor project costs and ensure budget adherence.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Prepare financial reports related to implementation activities.

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure all work complies with local regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental policies. Manage permits and ensure regulatory approvals are obtained in a timely manner.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, issue logs, and compliance records.

Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and key milestones.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of fixed network technologies (FTTH, FTTX, DSL, GPON, etc.).

Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).

Familiarity with network design principles and industry best practices.
