Title:IM & SP specialist

1. JOB DETAILS: Job Title:IM & SP specialist Reports to:As per organization chart Unit / Division:Undeveloped Reservoir Project/ Hail & Ghasha Project Department / Section:Engineering Location:As per Project requirements

2. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years, preferred in GCC region. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. Must have experience as IM/SP tools Specialist/Manager on at least one (1) major EPC project with Contractors/Consultants.

3. JOB PURPOSE: Shall be in possession of full knowledge about Smart Plant (SP) Tools (S3D V13, SPID V10, SPI V13.1 & SPEL V10 & its latest versions) and shall be able work on SP Tool databases as user/administrator. Guides the Contractor team and relevant discipline engineers of Contractor/ Consultant providing expertise and input on application of COMPANY and industry standards in the design and development during Project phases in a manner that achieves Project design requirements within the cost and schedule targets set by COMPANY.

4. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Review relevant engineering deliverables prepared by Contractor/ Consultant Participate in relevant workshops providing expertise to ensure IM/SP tools implementation is meeting project requirements. Respond to technical queries from Contractor/ Consultant and others, as deemed necessary in respect to relevant discipline. Ensures safe, economic and technically sound decisions in all project phases. Review technical content of variation order in the Project Contract. Participate in design review meetings/workshops as required. Ensure efficient Progress measurement system is implemented on all SP tools. Ensure efficient IM system is implemented in the Project. Follow up with the Contractor/ Consultant on daily basis and as required. Fully understand COMPANY HSE policy, procedures, regulations, and objectives as they relate to area of responsibility. Performs additional work activities as directed by line manager.
