ICT/Coding Teacher

to join our team at

Westview International School

. We are seeking a passionate educator who is eager to inspire and engage students in the world of Information and Communication Technology and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive ICT and coding lessons to students across various grade levels, ensuring all lesson plans are aligned with the curriculum. Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to create an interactive and engaging learning environment. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular feedback, assignments, and practical coding projects. Encourage students to explore their creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on coding exercises and collaborative projects. Stay updated with the latest developments in technology and coding education, integrating new concepts and tools into the curriculum as appropriate. Support and guide students in developing their understanding of computer science principles, coding languages, and software development. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to express themselves. Engage with parents and the school community to promote the importance of ICT and coding education.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field. Teaching qualification or certification is preferred. Experience teaching ICT and coding to students, preferably in an international school setting. Strong knowledge of various programming languages and ICT tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with colleagues. Passion for technology and education, with a desire to inspire students to explore the digital world. Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
