Business Analyst shall act as the intermediary between the business and IT to help business partners achieve their desired business outcomes. Business Analyst is responsible to elicit, analyze and document business requirements; engage with business partners and influence project decisions; prioritize competing business demands. Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Requirements Elicitation and Requirements Life Cycle Management Responsibility:

• Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders.
• Clearly identifies project stakeholders as well as their characteristics.
• Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
• Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team

Challenge, Classify and Prioritize competing business demands Responsibility:

• Work with business partners to challenge each demand and elicit high-level requirements.
• Capture business needs in Demand Form.
• Present each demand to Enterprise Information and Communication Technology – Requirements Tagging and Routing Center forum to classify and prioritize competing business demands
• Communicate the decision to Business partners.
