JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 8 years' experience, with 5 years in IBM mobile first Analytical thinking; business judgment; business innovation; and forward thinking.
Install, configure IBM Mobile first servers on all environments namely SIT, UAT, PROD and DR.
Deploy the required wlapps & Adapters on these environments
Apply fixpack and iFixes as required by business/technical teams on Mobile first
Maintain and support the availability of the Mobile first Server environment
Monitor the Mobile environment availability
Identify the Root cause and solve the issues raised on Mobile first environment
Follow SOP to support Operational requirements
Generate technical documentations for new requirements and capture new changes into the existing documentation
Generate Financial transactions for every day and forward it to concerned Mobility support teams, to assist in financial reconciliation
Work closely with IT Support team to open, modify and remove Firewall connections related to Mobility environment
Follow the standard IT service management practice, in terms of identifying, reporting and managing defects on Mobile first environment
Support the vendors queries on Smart Mobility services
Work closely with IT Infrastructure & other sections for technical operations or changes to Mobile first environment
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Installation, Administration, Operations and Monitoring for the server including performance tuning (if needed), Access Logs and availability.
Handling Any Issues related to Mobile first Servers on all the environments DEV, Staging, UAT, Production and DR
Installing and upgrading the iFixes for Mobile first Servers Products to be consistent with certified version.
Ensuring compliance with Mobile first license agreement.
Contacting IBM Corporation for technical support.
Monitoring the Status of All Mobile first Servers Jobs and Backups.
Restore all Mobile first Servers if needed.
Administering the Mobile application environment on IBM Mobile first platform v6.1 & above.
Building and managing of Studio, Server, Runtime Components, Console
Implementing the Mobile first API Package.
Deploying server code (adapters) that mobile application require.
