Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging IB Drama lessons across MYP and DP levels, tailored to diverse learning needs
• Create, implement, and reflect on detailed lesson plans, aligned with IB objectives
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and creativity
• Use a range of teaching and assessment strategies to support all learners
• Integrate educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Coordinate and lead school productions, assemblies, and drama-related events
• Maintain clear records of student achievement, attendance, and development
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers on student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary units
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and parent engagement initiatives

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant subject with a PGCE/PGDE in Drama or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in IB schools, ideally with MYP/DP Drama
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding classroom experiences and student outcomes
• Strong knowledge of IB pedagogy, learner profile, and assessment standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• A passion for inspiring students through the performing arts
• Familiarity with international school environments and culturally diverse classrooms
