Job Description

Job Summary (List Format) for Senior Electronics Engineer:
- Lead the development, design, and modification of communication and electronic systems, primarily for marine applications.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic equipment and systems onboard vessels or in workshops.
- Analyze technical problems, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions for equipment deficiencies.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
- Estimate project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within scope and on schedule.
- Ensure all products and equipment adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Inspect, diagnose, and test engines, generators, and mechanical/electronic components using diagnostic tools and computers.
- Oversee the assembly, repair, and rebuilding of machines or components as per service manuals and technical requirements.
- Maintain work logs, issue reports, and provide clear technical documentation to teams and management.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to subordinates and workshop teams.
- Interface with customers to resolve technical issues and provide field support.
- Work both indoors and outdoors as project/location requires.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
- Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD), Microsoft Office applications, and diagnostic tools for system design, analysis, and reporting.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in team settings.
- Preferred: Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License.
