Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on instrumentation and control systems such as transmitters, sensors, control valves, PLCs, DCS, and analyzers. Troubleshoot and repair faults in instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime. Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer's specifications and plant requirements. Read and interpret technical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and control schematics. Assist in commissioning, testing, and start-up activities of control systems. Support plant shutdown and turnaround activities as per maintenance schedules. Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, calibration records, and spare parts usage. Ensure work is carried out in compliance with plant safety policies and UAE regulations. Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and operations teams for maintenance and fault analysis. Monitor control loops and suggest improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation Engineering / Control Systems / Electronics. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a power plant, oil & gas, or process industry. Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and SCADA systems. Experience with control valves, pressure/temperature/flow transmitters, analyzers, and field instrumentation. Familiar with international standards (ISA, IEC, etc.)

Skills Required:

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork. Ability to work under pressure in a high-temperature environment. Proficiency in using test and calibration tools.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
