Reporting into the Engineering Works Team Manager, the Hydraulic Technician Position will be responsible for working effectively as part of a team to service, repair and maintain offshore equipment. Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of hydraulics machinery.

Some of the main duties of the role will be:

• To check, service, repair and maintain all equipment.
• To inspect and assess the hydraulic systems to determine the requirements for refurbishment, replacement, or repair.
• To generate accurate engineer inspection reports of assets and equipment.
• To log and report information in the maintenance job sheets.
• To liaise with Engineering Department to obtain necessary information to assist and build new equipment as required.
• To liaise with other departments to promote suitable improvements to the process, assets, and equipment.
• To Instruct site based operational staff on the correct use and operation of an asset.

We are looking for a Mechanical/ Hydraulic or equivalent technician or secondary qualification with equivalent technical experience of at least 5 years in similar role.
In both cases we require a Minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in relevant field and working within the oil & gas or energy industries. Servicing & maintaining hydraulic and mechanical machinery and executing preventive, predictive and corrective mechanical maintenance experience is required.
