Operate hydraulic press machines for hot and cold forging of aerospace-grade metals, ensuring precision, safety, and compliance with military and aerospace manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor hydraulic press machines for metal forging processes.
Set up dies, align materials, and control press parameters as per specifications.
Inspect forged components for dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and production procedures in a secure manufacturing environment.
Document production data and report non-conformities.
Requirements:
Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
2-4 years of experience operating hydraulic press machines with forging exposure.
Knowledge of aerospace materials (e.g., titanium, Inconel, aluminum alloys).
Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
Experience in a defense or aerospace environment is an advantage.
