Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and troubleshoot complex hydraulic circuit diagrams. Excellent communication and reporting skills are essential, as this role involves coordination across multiple departments and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Read, interpret, and troubleshoot hydraulic circuit diagrams and system layouts. Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in hydraulic components and systems. Support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and testing of hydraulic systems onboard vessels or industrial setups. Select appropriate hydraulic components (valves, pumps, hoses, actuators, etc.) for specific applications. Prepare service and inspection reports with detailed technical documentation. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project execution and technical clarifications.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, preferably in the marine or industrial sectors. Excellent ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics and technical manuals. Strong communication and correspondence skills (verbal and written). Familiarity with hydraulic testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of safety standards related to hydraulic systems and high-pressure operations.
