Roles & Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day duties assigned by the team lead. Service hydraulic systems, hydraulic power units, hydraulic components, and related electrical controls onboard ships/rigs and in workshops. Inspect, service, and test hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators, and filters. Troubleshoot hydraulic problems independently on-site. Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems. Perform tests on hydraulic components and systems. Execute hydraulic flushing and tubing jobs. Perform heavy equipment maintenance, including installation, repair, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance. Conduct pressure testing of components. Maintain documentation of services/projects as required by the team lead. Support the division in lifting equipment inspection jobs as needed. Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and ship crew. Willingness to undergo training at Manufacturer's facility. Willingness to work in yard/workshop, anchorage, and overseas locations. Learn and get involved in new products/services in the marine industry. Comply with safety protocols and company HSE requirements.

Hydraulic Technician Requirements

Ability to carry out maintenance and repair on hydraulic systems. Experience using hand and power tools. Experience diagnosing faults and repairing hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams. Ability to work as part of a team.

Hydraulic Technician Skills

Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems. Practical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum

2 years of hands-on technical experience

in the UAE. Ability to quickly understand product models and specifications. Clear English communication skills. Fast learner, highly disciplined, and physically fit. Able to lift heavy equipment safely.

25 - 33 years
