Job Purpose:
The primary responsibilities for Hydraulic & Plumbing engineer is to manage the maintenance of the critical mechanical systems for the KAUST Campus, Research & Technology Park buildings, Laboratories and high end computing assets.

Major Accountabilities:
You will:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Confer with Facility Management & other teams to implement mechanical operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information to the line manager.
- Analyse customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications for mechanical systems.
- Specify mechanical system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles to assess and evaluate mechanical equipment, systems and processes to meet business requirements.
- Investigate and test equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations, and make recommendations to avoid repeat failures.
- Conduct tests and analyse the feasibility, design, and performance of mechanical equipment, components and systems.
- Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility of the system, possible new applications, and necessity of modification.
- Coordinate, and monitor all aspects of operations, maintenance and installation methods, including the selection of equipment and systems.
- Have experience in testing equipment and systems as part of commissioning and testing the facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 to 10 y ears of experience in HVAC systems, MEP Operation & Maintenance.
- Have good knowledge in computer and engineering related software.
- Good knowledge in HVAC system, MEP installations and Elevator systems.
