Job Title: HVAC TechnicianJob Summary:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The technician ensures all HVAC equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems, including split units, package units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and complete maintenance logs and reports.

Replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, belts, filters, and thermostats.

Test HVAC systems for proper functioning using specialized tools and equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, technical standards, and manufacturer specifications.

Respond to emergency service requests and perform troubleshooting on-site.

Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to complete tasks efficiently.

Provide recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Technical Certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions.

Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles.

Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor job sites.

May require working overtime, weekends, or responding to emergency calls.
