Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes. The ideal candidate should have solid troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a strong understanding of HVAC systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems, including central AC units, split systems, and window units. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical components. Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions or breakdowns and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Test refrigerant levels and identify leaks using pressure gauges and leak detection equipment. Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems such as compressors, motors, fans, relays, and sensors. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during installation and repair activities. Advise customers on proper system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices. Maintain accurate service records, timesheets, and job notes. Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in AC system installation and maintenance. Keep work areas clean and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Technical training or certification in HVAC systems is preferred. Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair procedures. Familiarity with various types of AC units and their components. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as an HVAC Technician. Experience with commercial HVAC systems. Knowledge of refrigeration principles and practices. Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring. Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC installations.
