to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in accordance with local and federal codes
Inspect and diagnose HVAC systems and components for malfunctions or inefficiencies
Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and filter changes
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
Ensure all work is performed to code and in compliance with safety standards
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and HVAC system schematics
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent
Provide excellent customer service and explain technical issues in an understandable manner
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred
EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal)
Minimum [2+] years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Preferred Qualifications:
ITI Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering.
Experience with commercial HVAC systems
Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS)
Familiar with BMS and energy efficiency practices (preferred).
Working Conditions:
May be required to work in varying temperatures and environments (indoor/outdoor)
May require overtime, on-call shifts, or emergency repairs during weekends or holidays
