ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installation & Commissioning:
Install and commission HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings according to technical specifications, local building codes, and safety standards.

Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, chillers, fans, heat exchangers, and ventilation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

System Monitoring:
Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of HVAC systems to detect any faults or inefficiencies. Ensure systems are running efficiently, and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.

Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with UAE safety regulations and standards. Properly handle refrigerants and chemicals in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines.

Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, maintenance processes, and system functionality to clients. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Report any major system faults or issues to the supervisor or manager.

Energy Efficiency:
Assist in recommending energy-efficient upgrades and solutions to clients, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency and contribute to energy savings.

Desired Candidate Profile

:

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably with experience in the UAE or the Middle East region. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, split systems, ducted systems, VRF/VRV systems, air handling units, and ventilation systems. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of HVAC equipment. Familiarity with UAE local codes, regulations, and safety standards related to HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Relevant certifications in HVAC (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC solutions is a plus.
