Job Description

Position: HVAC Technician (Fitout Projects)

Job Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning:

Install HVAC systems, ducting, copper piping, and insulation for new fitout projects.

Mount, connect, and test air conditioners, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation fans.

Ensure all HVAC installations comply with design drawings, specifications, and Dubai Municipality standards.

Maintenance & Repair:

Troubleshoot and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems.

Identify and replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and filters.

Site Coordination & Documentation:

Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other MEP teams to ensure smooth site execution.

Review HVAC shop drawings and provide input during site installations.

Record daily work activities, materials used, and maintenance reports.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company and Dubai Civil Defense standards.

Handle refrigerants safely as per environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma or ITI in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, preferably in Dubai fitout projects.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with ducting, VRF/VRV, split, and package units.

Strong troubleshooting and repair knowledge.

Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and schematics.

Language: Basic English communication (Arabic is an advantage).
