Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation units, ductwork, and related components according to specifications and safety standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions to determine the layout and installation procedures.
Perform routine maintenance such as replacing filters, cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Repair or replace defective parts, such as motors, thermostats, compressors, relays, fans, and valves.
Test systems for proper operation, temperature control, and efficiency following maintenance or repair.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and part usage.
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
Provide professional and courteous service to clients, explaining issues and recommending solutions when necessary.
Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to HVAC systems.
