Job Description

HVAC TECHNICIAN
Job Title: HVAC Technician
Experience Level: Minimum 1-2 years
Reporting To: HVAC Supervisor / Senior HVAC Technician
Job Summary:
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation and pre-commissioning of various air conditioning and ventilation systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with a solid foundation in HVAC installation practices.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ducting Works: Fabricate and install sheet metal ducts (GI) and flexible ducts as per drawings. Install duct insulation and associated accessories like dampers and diffusers.
  • Split AC Systems: Install indoor fan coil units and outdoor condensing units. This includes mounting, refrigerant piping connection, electrical wiring, and condensate drain line installation.
  • VRF System Support: Assist senior technicians in the installation of VRF outdoor units, indoor units, and the associated refrigerant piping network.
  • Equipment Handling: Safely handle, lift, and position HVAC equipment and materials.
  • Tool Proficiency: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like duct fabrication machines, benders, and vacuum pumps under guidance.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HVAC ducting and split AC installation.
  • Basic understanding of VRF system components and installation sequence.
  • Ability to read HVAC layout and ducting drawings.
  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is preferred.
