The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and/or industrial clients. You will play a key role in ensuring indoor air quality and comfort while adhering to all safety and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and system upgrades.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
Ensure systems comply with safety and environmental standards, local codes, and company policies.
Communicate with clients regarding system performance, maintenance plans, and potential improvements.
Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and hours worked.
Assist with HVAC system design and layout when necessary.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in safe working order.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification or technical school diploma preferred.
Valid HVAC technician license (where applicable).
EPA Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) is required.
Minimum [X] years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
