Job Description

We are looking for a technically skilled

HVAC System Design Engineer with experience in designing climate control systems for

containerized microgrid units and

electrical enclosures. The role involves accurately calculating heat dissipation from electrical equipment (e.g., inverters, batteries, transformers) and designing suitable air conditioning or ventilation systems to maintain optimal operating conditions.

Responsibilities

Analyze electrical equipment in microgrid containers (e.g., inverters, battery banks, switchgear) to calculate total heat dissipation (kW loss)*.

Select and design suitable HVAC or cooling systems(split AC, precision cooling, ventilation, etc.) based on thermal load and environmental conditions.
Prepare heat load calculations, duct layouts, air distribution plans*, and equipment specifications.

Coordinate with electrical design, panel design, and container layout teams to ensure proper HVAC integration.
Evaluate and recommend HVAC components with appropriate capacity, energy efficiency, and reliability*.

Ensure HVAC designs comply with relevant ASHRAE, ISO, and IEC standards*, as well as project-specific requirements.

Prepare technical documentation including design reports, datasheets, BOQs, and installation guidelines*.



Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Engineering.
Solid understanding of HVAC load calculation principles*, thermodynamics, and system selection.

Experience in designing HVAC systems for electrical rooms, control panels, or containerized energy systems*.

Proficiency with tools such as HAP, Carrier software, or Excel-based heat load calculators*.

Familiarity with the thermal characteristics of inverters, transformers, BESS*, and power electronics.

Ability to read and interpret electrical layouts, GA drawings, and mechanical schematics*.

Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Salary

: 3000 - 5000 AED + Accommodation +Transportation + Visa + Insurance + Lunch (will be provided by the company) + Overtime*

Working days: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (2 days off in a week, Saturday & Sunday)
